It was only last week when we announced our plan to support three charities in 2012 with our first charity being the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. A big thank you to Simon Kemp and Rebecca Rutherdale for agreeing for me to photograph their wedding on the 20th October 2012. They will be making a very large donation to the charity and helping those in the worst circumstances at a time when they need it most. Simon and Becky will be getting married at Framlingham Pigot Parish Church and then having their wedding breakfast at Brasteds, Norwich. I look forward to photographing them both and having a wonderful day. Also thanks to Mrs Gilly Snook for guiding Simon and Becky my way!

Sometimes you need to help others when they need it most, either in desperate times or to help face life and move forward.  To help us to help others we are going to support some local and national charities by photographing a number of weddings for free and asking our brides and grooms to donate a discounted fixed amount straight to charity.

The first charity we have chosen to support is the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (registered charity 1069284).

We are offering to photograph your wedding from the morning preparations to the first dance with all the photographs from your online gallery provided to you in high resolution for you to make unlimited prints on disk. All our time and travel will be completely free of charge. Payment for this will be made direct to the charity.

I photographed Tim and Annalise at St Giles House on the 13th April 2012.  This was there second wedding having married a few weeks earlier in the heat of the Philippines.   Having now delivered all their photographs to them I will post some of my favourites from the day to add to the teasers shots I uploaded the day after their wedding. The River Wensum snakes around Norwich and at this point there used to be a ducking stool at Quay Side used for punishing dishonest Norfolk folk (usually women – least that what it says on the sign).  Hasn’t been used for a while so looks like we are now all good.
