These are some of the most frequently asked questions asked by the bride and groom when looking to book me to photograph their wedding. I hope you’ll find these helpful and informative. If there’s anything else you would like to know, please drop me an email or give me a call.
What packages do you have?
I offer one inclusive package that will give you everything you need from your wedding day. For shorter times or if you’re not looking for a wedding album please contact me.
How many photographs will I get?
How many pictures you get will depend on how long I’m photographing your wedding for. For a full days coverage from the preparation to the first dance there would be over 300 fully edited photographs supplied on your metal USB. There is no maximum.
Will it be you that photographs my wedding?
I never send anyone else in my place ever. If you book me, I’ll be the one that photographs your wedding and the work you see here is representative of the type of images you’ll receive. The only time I will not attend is if I am incompletely unconscious in hospital. I’ve a procedure in that case to ensure your wedding is covered.
Do you take formal group wedding photographs?
As a documentary wedding photographer I still feel there’s an important place for formal group wedding photographs. I advice you to keep the number down to a minimum as they tend to be very hard work on the bride and groom who have to be in every single image, taking up time, instead instead of enjoying the wedding day. Please ask for more details about this if you’ve any concerns. I like to get these types of images completed within twenty minutes maximum.
What if a camera or something else goes wrong?
I have three cameras available to me at a wedding, multiple flashes and lenses to cover such an event. I’ve never had a single camera or lens problem. But just in case one did go wrong it wouldn’t be a problem.
Are there any additional charges?
If there’s travelling around the UK there would be an additional charge for mileage and overnight accommodation costs.
Overnight accommodation would be at a Travel Lodge or Holiday Inn Express type of hotel, booked in advance at a low rate. There may also be a charge for wedding album delivery for customers outside of Norwich, Norfolk. But you’ll know about these charges before you book.
There is no additional charges for weddings being photographed in Norfolk, Suffolk or Cambridgeshire.
Do you have a contract to sign?
Yes I’ve a written contract which lists the services and products you have chosen. It has the total cost so there are no hidden surprises.

I’m unable to take provisional bookings. I work on a strictly first come first served basis. Your wedding date is only secure once you have paid your booking fee.
Is there a booking fee?
Yes, the booking fee is £150 which can be paid by cheque, cash or on-line via credit or debit card.

All completed wedding photographs are archived to DVD and to a separate hard disk. I’ll keep your images for as long as I can but don’t/can’t make any guarantee on how long that will be. I would ask you to send me a suitably sized USB memory stick and a stamped, self addressed envelope and I’ll send you another set.
Are you insured?
Yes. I’m fully insured. I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Can you recommend any other wedding suppliers to me?
I’m in a unique position when attending weddings to work with people who stand out for their quality of service and professionalism. This section although short, will have my personal recommendations of those who I feel offer something more:
Susan Jane May Florist I met Susan at a wedding at the Maids Head Hotel and was speechless with the beautiful bouquets that Susan made. The bride was so impressed with her work she had her wedding bouquet freeze dried at considerable expense and is now under glass to be preserved forever. You would have seen Susan on television recently for Vista. If you are looking for wedding bouquets I can highly recommend Susan.
